Hasta La Vista
Danny goes back to York College today to begin his second year. I'm the lucky one that gets to help him move in. I got to help Andrew move to Virginia, too.
I was sad last year when he left for school. It's not really any easier this year. I enjoyed having him home this summer and hate to see him go.
But he's excited to go back. I certainly remember how excited I was to get back to school. Move-in day was always one of the happiest days of the year. That part is fun to watch.
And at least my house will stay neat and tidy with him back in school. With no kids in the house, if there's a mess in the house you know who made it.
I just have to remember to keep the windows open so the smell of old fart doesn't stink up the place.
