Rain. Not a Lot.
Maryland is in the throes of a horrible drought. So when a small shower passed over my house last night, I rejoiced. I think the shower only lasted 30 minutes, but the rain is much needed. Cooler temperatures follow the shower.

We've had a lot less than usual rain this year, too, which is odd considering all the flooding around Chicago and northwards just a month or so ago. And, we just found out today that Decatur, home of Archer Daniels Midland, is imposing water restrictions on residents (but not industry). Also, Springfield is in the throes of an almost 40 year debate of whether to build a second lake or not. Yeah - 40 years and they still can't decide.
Here in Bucks County, PA, we have been without enough rain for a long time. This week we had several good hard rains. It was really nice. I hope you get them as well.
