Let It Go, Dude
In the past week I have lost:
1. my good kitchen shears
2. my v-shaped roasting rack
3. my bottle opener that I've had since college
I have scoured the house several times looking for these things and can't find them. Does anybody know where they are?
Damn, I can obsess about trivialities.

I love a mystery. Did you check the bottom of the dishwasher for the two smaller items (assuming you have a dishwasher)? As for the rack, perhaps it's in the oven or the fridge?
Maybe you could make up a "lost" sign and put it on the nearest light pole. I'm sure your neighbors would get a kick out of that.
I've looked everywhere several times. I'm particularly infuriated by the loss of the roasting rack since I'm the only one who uses it. I know I had it on Thanksgiving but damned if I can find it now. I'm sorry, I'm starting to spin up. Let it go, White... let it go.
