OK, But Steal The Music Yourself
Conversation between my son and me at 6:15 AM this morning just after waking him up. In fact, these were the first words out of his mouth:
"Daddy, will you go on the computer and print me the lyrics to Blowin' In The Wind? I need them for that project we're doing in sociology."
"Not a problem."
And it wasn't. I had them in less than a minute.
God, I love the Internet.

I love the fact he needed the lyrics for a sociology project!
Actually it makes sense. Each student is to find a song that calls for social change, social justice, or is otherwise an archetype of some social movement. In class, they will listen to the song, discuss the song's social relevance, and decide how successful it was. When he and I talked about it, I suggested this song or Country Joe and the Fish's "Vietnam Song" from Woodstock.

I love the internet as well. This morning Don had been watching an episode on the history channel about a railroad man whose name was McCoy.
They mentioned that the phrase "the real McCoy" was possibly about him and one of his inventions. Off to the pc I went and looked it up. I'll be posting something on it soon.
Cas
by the way, it may have been after him, or about a dozen different things, I guess no one really knows.
Feel Like I'm Fixin To Die Rag. A classic. He'd have to leave in the pre-song chant.
