Found this link. I love Kubrick and liked The Shining. I guess this is the trailer that got away. Anyhow, it made my day.

I've gone from not really caring for the Shining in the beginning, to not almost never missing it when it's on TV these days.
This trailer gives us a glimpse into how we choose to see ourselves in life. Are we miserable or happy? Are we rich or poor? Are we evil or innocent. All your life you perceived yourself a certain way. But, is that really who you are? Perhaps in reality, we're all just Jack.

I would actually pay money to be able to live in a snowed-in Rocky Mountain-top lodge the way Jack Torrance did. Months to read, listen to music, watch movies, see weather mayhem firsthand, cook, eat, open bar... *sigh* I apologize, a minor passing rhapsody...
The going-mad-homicidal-maniac thing might be a bother but I don't see it as a serious downside.
