New MT Plug-In

I installed SpamLookup a couple of days ago. I'm not all that savvy with trackbacks, proxies, dynamic proxy checking, and the like, so I was a little unsure exactly what it did an how it went about it.

Nevertheless, it seems to be doing something. After two days, it's log tells me it's blocked a bunch of spam comments and trackbacks, mostly because SpamLookup decided the "Proxy cache reported Cached proxy record found for IP". I was also able to use it to find a bunch of old trackbacks that had escaped my notice and delete them.

The developer of MT-Blacklist believes SpamLookup will eventually replace MT-Blacklist. In the meantime, they seem to coexist and work together.

Anything to help keep spam at bay.
