Holiday Suggestions
Today is the first day of August. August is a funny month. There are absolutely no holidays in August. Not even pseudo-holidays like Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, or Labor Day. (I mean, come on, does anybody seriously commemorate the working stiff on Labor Day?)
I think we need a holiday in August, even a pseudo-holiday.

How about some day to celebrate the ball steaming heat, the brown dying grass, the soupy air and roar of the cicadas?
Good news! Just heard on the radio that this Saturday is Mustard Day. The bad news is, it falls on a weekend. And, apparently, somewhere in Wisconsin there's a Poupon University. (Except the guy on the radio pronounded it poop on u.)
All right! And I even like mustard. As opposed to groundhogs, which I still celebrate anyway.
