The Government Intrudes

Good luck! We did ours several weeks ago and are now playing the "why does it take so long to get my refund" waiting game.

Actually, it usually takes about 30 minutes for me to do my taxes -- which were done at the beginning of the month, the instant we got the last piece of reporting papers needed.

I track all our finances using Quicken and just import everything into TurboTax. I was actually surprised we got money back since I tend to play it very close. But at least the filing process is painless -- and all done through e-filing and direct deposit.
