Drove to Michigan for 8 hours Friday and then drove back Saturday to have the Mater in Maryland for Christmas. Nothing untoward occurred although I do have to acknowledge the tenacity of truck drivers who can get behind the wheel for 8 hours day after day.

Welcome back! Glad you made the trip safely. I know how tired you must be doing a turnaround like that. August 2000, hubby and I drove daughter from Sacramento, CA to Portland, OR to pick up Granddaughter. Left Friday night, drove all night, picked up Granddaughter Saturday, about noon, had dinner with my Mom Saturday night, drove back to Sacramento Sunday and THEN drove home to Bay Area. All told about 1200 miles total in three days. Never again!
