Phew! No wonder you haven't posted... You've been busy!
No Christmas decorations here this year -- not when the living room is full of furniture from the dining room and is next on the list to be painted. With any luck, it will be done by Christmas, but I'm not holding my breath.
I'll make up for it next year and pull out all the stops... LOL
Heather, you caught me. I have to fess up. Even though all these things got done, I really can't take credit for any of them. I was kind of the support person for these tasks.
1. My wife did the yeoman share of getting the decorations up. I just got out the boxes, put the tree in the stand, and put up a few outside decorations.
2. My youngest son did the better part of shoveling.
3. My oldest son did all the work of preparing the college applications. I just proofread the essays (and paid for submitting them).
So why does it seem like I was doing this stuff all weekend.?
Good luck with your painting. I get to wait till after the new year before I have to start.
